Conference Registration

The safety of our nation’s Tribal leaders is paramount.  The Category 4 Hurricane “Ike” is currently threatening the Hollywood, Florida area during the proposed dates for the 2008 Tribal Consultation.  Because of these severe weather conditions, and after extensive deliberation, OVW Director Cindy Dyer has made a decision to cancel next week’s Tribal Consultation.

OVW will be deciding on a revised date for the 2008 Tribal Consultation very soon and we will notify all Tribal Leaders and others who may have registered for the Florida session.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused; however, we are very concerned about the safety of all of you.  Please email OVW’s Deputy Director for Tribal Affairs Lorraine Edmo if you have questions or concerns.  Her email is: lorraine.edmo@usdoj.gov.  Thank you.
